Middle of the week.

Last night was dad night, of course, we did the usual. Bob Evans and Krogers. After dinner with dad, I stopped by my moms and picked up my Scentsy order. I caught up with her for awhile and played with the cats, then headed home. I miss my mom and cats a lot more then I thought I would. My mom said she thinks Thomas is grieving since he is a lot more needy and hangs out in my old room a lot. I so wish I could have brought them with me to the new place. Oh well.

Once home, I changed into my pajamas (nightly ritual) and cleaned up a bit. I chatted with Tina about Metamora this weekend and then headed to bed. It was around 9 or so when I headed to bed. I read for about a hour and fell asleep. No matter how tired I am, I can't seem to fall asleep much before 10:30, it sucks.

This morning, I have a killer headache and my throat is sore. I'd like to blame this on sleeping with the windows open but I'm not sure there is a lot of truth behind that, even though you always hear that. Of course, they pass around germs here at work like it's going out of style so that could be it. Plus, it's the time of year where the environment changes and I usually get SOMETHING this time of year. I just hope it passes since we're in Metamora all weekend selling Scentsy and I'd rather not be sick while I do that.

I'm supposed to meet with Lynn and her team tomorrow to get over my new job and what that entails as well as sitting with the team and getting to know everyone. That makes me laugh. I've been here almost 13 years, I think I know pretty much everyone but whatever.
