The deed is done.

I met with Brad last night. Yay. It was awkward. I was kind of cold toward him but that's my way of not showing him that I'm a bit hurt by all that's happened.

He pulled up, had his windows down and said "Hey stranger." It took everything I had not to roll my eyes. I said hey back and got out of the car. He told me that I looked nice (I wore a skirt, on purpose. Ha.) and then he handed me my DVDs. I said thanks and he's all "Sorry." I just shrugged and said "It is what it is." He slowly nodded at me and then hugged me.

AWKWARD!!!

I pulled away and told him thanks for bringing the stuff out. I turned away and started back to my car and he's all "Can we maybe talk sometime?" I rolled my eyes, didn't look back and said "Maybe."

I got in my car and drove away. I never looked back.

And I didn't cry either.

Then, I went to Joanie's, ate some home made meatloaf and did my laundry. I got home kind of late (for me, it was after 10), cleaned up my kitchen, made my lunch and coffee for this morning and went to bed. I couldn't fall asleep until midnight or so. So, I hurt a little bit this morning and it's pouring the rain. The weather kind of matches my mood.
