Skinny Cow

I'm in love with Skinny Cow ice cream. I practically moaned when I ate the chocolate with fudge cone last night. OMG....YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!! That totally made my day better.

I watched DWTS last night (Thank you Sarah for reminding me). I'm not at all surprised that Nicole won but I'm disappointed. I really felt that Erin or Evan should've won. Nicole has professional dancing skills. Oh well. So, all of my shows are done now. Grey's, Private Practice, Dancing, Legend of the Seeker....what do I watch now? :(

I got a new flat iron last night! While in Idaho, Sarah suggested I get a Chi flat iron like her friend Tiffany has. So, I chatted with Tiffany about it and decided to purchase one. Well, I ran into Sally's last night to pick up more anti-frizz stuff for my hair and I chatted with the sales girl about the Chi flat irons. She said that they had something comparable that was half the price. It's called a GVP (Sally's brand) and for $59.99 (they are regularly $69.99), you'd get a mini GVP as a free gift. So, I got two flat irons for $60.00! Plus, she talked me into a new anti-frizz polishing cream and told me if I didn't like it, I could exchange it for the one I currently use.

I tried out my new flat iron this morning and I LOVED IT. It gets hotter then my old one but doesn't burn my hair, my hair is softer and STRAIGHTER. I'm so happy. I didn't have to go over one place 900 times, maybe twice at the most and it took about half the time then normal. I also liked the new polishing, anti-frizz cream, my hair is shiny and mostly smooth. HOORAY!!! And - it feels LESS thick. I know it's not but that's how straight it currently is.

Pam is back today but I'm not sure what's going to happen. Her father-in-law is "about the same" and they are removing him from life support this evening. They were planning to do it last night but the family is struggling with his Living Will decision so the hospital said they'd give them another 24 hours before removing him from the machines. He has 2 daughters that were not able to make it here until last night so that is why the hospital decided to give them a little more time to say goodbye. :( It's a very sad situation all around. I'm surprised that Pam is here today but I understand there is nothing they can do and his condition hasn't changed. It's very, very hard to sit at the hospital when your loved one is so ill. I've been there.

I weighed this morning. I was just curious to see if I'd lost any of the 5 pounds and I've put on and I've lost 4 pounds! How is that possible?????

I slept better last night. I didn't wake up once. Well, not until around 5 anyway. So, I feel MUCH better this morning then I have the past 2 days. Plus, it's a 3-day weekend this weekend and that is keeping me plugging along.

I think that's all for now....
