Blogging Celebrity

So, one of my favorite bloggers, Shannon has had some personal things going on. (What, you ask? Well, head to her blog to see!) I just caught up on my reader, from my long week of sickness/vacation and Scentsy frenzy. Needless to say, I just found out myself some of the things happening over in Shannon's world.

I emailed her. Yes, that's right, I emailed someone I consider a "blogging celebrity".

You see, I'm what I consider a "creeper". I stalk blogs silently, never leaving comments or emails to people I don't know. Hell, I seldom comment on anyone's blog that I do know. But, I felt for her and what she was going through. I didn't expect anything back, I just wrote to let her know I'd pray for her and her loved ones and I'd be thinking about them all, all the way from Ohio.

Well, folks. SHE WROTE ME BACK!!!

I almost fainted, right here in my desk chair. To me, it's like getting an email back from Angelina Jolie. But better!!!

She's super sweet and funny and in my excitement (in the 2 email exchanges), I think I came across as some type of hippy lunatic. I'm NOT, I swear.

She asked if I blogged and I sent her my blog address and then quickly went to my blog to make sure it was "presentable", like I invited her over to my house. *rolls eyes at self*
