This weekend turned out to be very nice. It was relaxing but busy. Friday night, my Scentsy party went well. She's at $333 right now, but not closing until later this week. I'm crossing my fingers she gets over $400 in sales.
Saturday, Tina and I went shopping. I'm going to have a Halloween par-tay so I picked up some plates, cups, plastic utensils, a table cloth, napkins and some simple decorations. I also picked up some fallish decorations for my apartment. The dollar store is my new best friend. We headed to Target as well, where I picked up a few more decorations. I heart fall so I went a little overboard. Saturday night, I went to Joanie's and did my laundry, hung out with her for a bit and came home. Then, I labeled Scentsy catalogs and stapled samples to the front. I know, you're jealous. I meant to take pictures of my decorations but I forgot.
Yesterday, I did my grocery shopping and also picked up a mop & broom. I spent WAY too much money this weekend and I'm silently freaking out about it. I'm still adjusting to living on my own so I'm way paranoid about money. I think I'll be fine but I'm SO afraid I won't be able to cover everything. I haven't received my first water bill or electric bill. I should be covered on my cable bill until October (at least, that's what they told me) but I still have to pay rent, water, electric and still put gas in my car, have food....you know, the basics. I really hope that I can do it all and still have money to spare. I'm just quietly freaking out.
This weekend is Metamora in Indiana. We're working it the entire weekend, Friday through Sunday and I'm PRAYING we make as much money as we did last year. I believe last year, the 2 of us made around $3500.00. We split it in half (after we paid our hotel bill, the booth rent for this year, food and other crap) so I think we both came home with around $1500.00 a piece. I could really use that money. But then again, who couldn't? It's a lot of work to do this event but so worth it in the end.
I believe that's all for now. Off to drink my coffee!
