Jury Duty

So, last night, I had a mega-headache. I talked to Tina a little bit after work and then I layed down, in hopes to get rid of my headache. Brad texted me about 7 and woke me up so I could drive down to see him. I shouldn't have done that with my head hurting the way it did but I did anyway. I haven't seen him since Saturday. I missed him.

We attempted to watch Sherlock Holmes (which I've never seen) but I slept through most of it. When my head hurts, I like to sleep it off. I woke up enough to drive home and then went directly to bed once I got home. Lovely, eh?

This morning, I had jurty duty. I had to be at court at 8:30. It was nice to sleep in some, though I forgot to change my alarm and it started going off about 5:30 this morning. I arrived around 8:15, signed in and waited.

And waited.

And waited.

And waited.

And waited.

I took my book but left it in the car, thinking it probably wouldn't take that long. I know better.

So, I waited some more.

And waited.

And waited.

About 10:30, we were dismissed. The judge came down and explained that the state had new witnesses for the case and the guy ended up pleaing out. Nice huh? So, 2 hours, wasted.

I seriously considered taking the rest of the day (the excuse they give you for work just has the date, no times) but alas, I am too honest for my own good. I stopped at McD's and got a McMuffin to inhale and then I headed into work. And here I am.

My head hurts again today. Ugh. I'm hoping now that I ate and am sipping coffee, it will ease off.

No plans for tonight that I know of. Maybe more sleep.
