So, Brad and I started our little project this weekend with the Art Museum in Cincinnati. This was my first time visiting the art museum. It was...okay. Evidently, I'm not a huge art fan as I thought most of it was nice but nothing I'd ever put in my house. I really enjoyed the artifacts on display from Egypt. I enjoyed it so much, we went back to Brad's and watched The Mummy. Anyway, I didn't take pictures, I forgot my camera (which was a good thing since they don't allow photography) but it was an enjoyable experience. At least, now I can say, that we've started our project. I did like the art by Charley Harper. I thought his art was very different and fun.
Next up on our Go See Do project is B for Boonshoft Museum of Discovery in Dayton.
Friday night, I had another exciting adventure. I met my sister!!!! She's beautiful. She's funny and sweet and smart and I adore her. We're so much alike it's almost creepy. She has James' nose and my eyes and hair. My mom even said we laugh a like.
I enjoyed meeting her. I'm glad we finally did it. I cannot wait to get to know her better and spend more time with her. She was in town visiting some friends who had just had their 8th child. I've got to do some research today on DNA testing. We both want to be tested to know for sure but I don't think there is any denying it. We're talking about having a party once we get the results but I won't reveal too many details about that. It's going to be so neat!!!
