Infected.

So, I went to the urgent care after work last night and found out I have a severe sinus infection and a ear infection. Yay me. The doctor at the urgent care did explain that this is probably from the steroids. He said that Prednisone can lower your immune system so the chances of getting an infection or sick while on the medicine can be pretty high. I asked my mom about this when she got home and she said that is one of the risks of being on steroids.

I filled my medicine, came home, ate some dinner, took some medicine, chatted with Sarah for a little bit and then took some Nyquil to sleep. I feel somewhat better this morning, my face doesn't hurt as bad as it did. I still have a slight fever and a headache. I'm hoping as the day goes on, I feel better. I'm just so tired. I kind of feel like I've been hit by a truck. The doctor said that my infection was pretty severe and if I'm not feeling better by Friday or Saturday to come back. Ugh.

Tina and David left this morning to go to Maryville to see David's brother. He's dying and they've called in the family. :( So, I am dog sitting this weekend while they're gone.

I canceled plans with Adam and Brad. Both of course, were very understanding. I was looking forward to seeing them both. Adam is off for the next 6 days so he said we can reschedule for whenever. Brad said we'll reschedule for when I feel better. I hope I get to see him this weekend. He said something about bringing me soup tonight. Maybe I'll take him up on that.

I cried last night. My face hurt. I felt lousy and I was just weepy. I feel like I've been sick a lot this year and I don't know why. Maybe it's something in the air. Maybe it's Ohio. Maybe it's my house. Maybe I suck.
