Health Food Day

So, today is health food day at Amstan. Each month, a few of us are bringing in "healthy" food to encourage all of us in our diets and eating better. I brought in Blueberry Cream Pie which was SUPER easy to make and seemed to taste okay when I made it. I whipped it together last night after I got home. DeAnna made a breakfast frittata, half veggie with mozz cheese, other half is turkey sausage potato cheese. It's WAY good. Of course, I skipped the half veggie side, ugh, spinach. It will be interesting to see what everyone brings in today. And I'm curious to see what everyone thinks of the pie.

I got my hair done last night. Missy put some more color in it (a lot of blonde) and trimmed it up. It was nice not to have to wash my hair this morning. I can usually get about 1-2 days from when she does my hair. Downside though, by the time I got home, I had a full blown headache. Yikes.

Julia from last weeks Scentsy party, closed last night. She was able to come up with $222 more in orders, making her party $452! HOORAY! Plus, after I hung up with her, I got 2 more calls for 2 more orders. YIPPEE!!! This will, hopefully, put me over $1000 for the month.

After that, I made my pie and chatted with Sarah for a bit before heading off to bed. I didn't get to sleep right away, my head was making me sick to my stomach but finally I drifted off. My head is still really sore this morning and hurts a bit. I'm hoping I can take something to keep it at bay. I have plans this evening.

Pam did approve me taking tomorrow off. I didn't see it until this morning, she must have done it after I left so I'm looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow. I think I'll hang out with Tina, help her get her house ready for the party tomorrow night and I'm going to attempt to make this! I got the blueberry cream pie from her website as well.

I'm super excited about this jewelry party. So far, we've got around 18-20 people coming!! HOORAY!!! I have 2 outside orders, probably 3 (my mom is working and wants to order). It should be so much fun. It's double the hostess rewards for the month of July so Tina and I should be able to split everything evenly. Which, reminds me, I need to send out another email and get directions for everyone.

Saturday, therapy appointment and Sunday, we're seeing James. Next week, I have lunch planned with my friend Rick (from the Ohio PGR) and a possible movie date with Adam. How did I get so busy all the sudden?

Positive for yesterday: Cute hair and inappropriate happiness and more chat time with Miss Sarah.
