Jury Duty

So, let's see, on Friday, I got a notice for jury duty. I was so excited. :) I love jury duty. This is the third time in my life that I've been called, I've only been picked once but I'm hopeful to get picked for a trail again this time.

Friday night I didn't do anything. At least nothing I remember.

Saturday, I met with Katie, my brothers friend, at Starbucks and she let me talk to him on the phone. Because James is in prison, you have to set up a special account with Global Tel Link and put money on an account for him to call. My mom hadn't set that up on our phone yet so I haven't spoken to James since .... I don't remember when. Then we went to Applebee's, ate dinner and picked up a few things at WalMart. I found the two cutest dresses at Walmart! I heart them. I wore one of them yesterday. I can't find pictures of them online. :( I'll keep looking to see if I can find them.

Yesterday, Tina and I went and got pedicures. I got a dark red on my toes and then we each got a flag painted on our big toe for the 4th of July! I returned my shoes to Famous Footwear. I had ordered some online and when they came in, I didn't care for them so I returned them to get new ones. I got 2 new pair on clearance and still got $30 back! I ended up getting these and these but in brown. Then we went to deliver some Scentsy stuff to one of Tina's hostesses and headed to DOTs on the West side. I'd never been in DOTs before and it's probably for the best. I ended up spending about $80! I got a lot of clothes for 80 dollars though. 2 dresses, 3 little shrugs, 2 bracelets, 2 bras/cami's and I think that's it.

On the headache front: I still had a headache on and off all weekend. I have decided the Fioricet the doctor gave me doesn't do CRAP. The best thing so far that works for me is regular ibuprofen. So, I ate a lot of ibuprofen this weekend. It takes it away (mostly) and I usually have enough warning when my head starts to ache again, that I can take more to make it go away again. I stopped the vitamin and the birth control and I am still getting headaches. So, it wasn't either of those things, at least I don't think that's what it is.

This week is a busy one, I have to go to the store tonight, tomorrow is dad night, Wednesday I have a doctors appointment and then I'm going to Marti's with mom after that to pick up some Mary Kay, Thursday I think we're having dinner with Katie and Friday, I head to Lynn's to dog sit for the holiday weekend. I'm looking forward to some pool time and relaxing (if I am off my period by then, sigh). I think Tina and I are going to see Eclipse this weekend too since it's out on Wednesday. Maybe if I get off work early on Friday, we'll go then.

I'm thinking maybe this weekend, I'm going to look at an apartment. My friend Renee told me that one of the apartments upstairs from her, opened up and she thinks I should come look at it. So, maybe I'll do that this coming weekend.

Well, I think that's it for now. I'm off to eat my yogurt and take some ibuprofen.
